About Us

Our history is ISMA was first established in the late 1990’s to help facilitate the growing religious needs of the nascent Muslim community. Since its inception, ISMA has grown tremendously by many folds due to which we finally bought a mosque in 2007.

Our Mission is to strive hard in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah, and build an Islamic foundation through which the needs of the community can be met.

As Allah, the Almighty the All-Knowing, states, “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves…” (3:103).

Our religion is one which constantly reinforces the building of bonds between brothers in faith. The very core of our faith lay in the establishment of a strong community, which without this fundamental component, no Muslim would truly be able to reach the pinnacle of his faith.

For it was our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah’s peace and blessing be upon him, who constantly strived throughout his life to foster love between Muslims.

At ISMA, we do our best to live up to Allah’s commands and the example our Prophet has set. Our doors are open to all, Muslims who wish to establish contact with their fellow brethren in the area, and non-Muslims who desire to learn about the faith. Do not hesitate to contact us, and remember the words of our Prophet, “Worship the Most Merciful and spread peace.”

The Friday service is open for everybody, non-muslims who are interested in knowing more about Islam are welcome to walk-in. We usually have Halaqua/potluck, a social gathering, on last Friday of every month, at 7pm.
